NOTICE OF INTERVIEWS – EXECUTIVE SESSION ONLY

Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the general public that the Board of the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority (WIFA) will hold Executive Sessions on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 8:00 AM, 9:10 AM, 10:20 AM, 11:30 AM, 2:00 PM, 3:10PM and 4:20 PM to interview designated applicants for the WIFA Executive Director position.

The interviews will be conducted under Executive Session in accordance with A.R.S. 38-431.03(A)(1)&(3) (discussion or consideration of employment and discussion or consultation for legal advice).

The location of the interviews will be 3300 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85012.

Please note: the Executive Sessions will not be open to the public.

Notice of Public Review and Comment on the Proposed

Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Intended Use Plan (IUP)

for the State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2024

and The Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2023 Appropriation

 

Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes 38-431.02; and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Regulations, 40 CFR 35.2015; notice is hereby given that a public comment period is being initiated to allow public participation and input on Amendment 1 of the Intended Use Plan for SFY 2024. The amendment increased the amount of set-asides to be used by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and added an additional source of funding. Upon written request, a public hearing may be scheduled. Requests for a public hearing must be received by the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority (WIFA) by January 12, 2024. If a public hearing is deemed appropriate, a second public notice will be published with the date, time and location of the public hearing. Information regarding the Amended Intended Use Plan may be obtained by calling or writing to WIFA’s office at the address noted below. If, due to disability, you have special needs for commenting on the proposed Intended Use Plan, please contact WIFA at the address noted below or call (602) 364-1310 by January 12, 2024.

This Notice of Public Information concerns the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona’s (“WIFA”) proposed rules amending 18 A.A.C. 15 Article 8. As stated in the Notice of Proposed Expedited Rulemaking 29 A.A.R. 3796 WIFA has scheduled a virtual oral proceeding on January 16 2024 at 1:00 p.m. to receive oral comments on the proposed rules. While the oral proceeding date remains unchanged WIFA is extending the close of comment period until January 19 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Documents and additional information related to this rulemaking may also be found on WIFA’s website: https://azwifa.gov/news/rulemaking.
